Excellent host waited for us to get there. Excellent communication with host/owner. Excellent location. Walking distance to most places that we wanted to go. Exceptional!
Camilla was a wonderful host. The breakfast was a nice assortment of cheeses, meats, breads, fruit, juice, yogurt, etc. It is so close to the center of Beaune and near the Hotel-Dieu-Hospice de Beaune. The bed was very comfortable with nice bedding. Great communication via WhatsApp.
We were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home – thank you very much, Camilla. The next morning, we had a great breakfast, prepared just the way we wanted. The small hotel is nicely decorated and has a calm, very pleasant atmosphere. We definitely recommend it.

Camilla and her husband are very warm and welcoming people. Their home reflects their warmth. They were very flexible and understanding with us. The house is superb and very well equipped. Super practical for a group. Charming small interior courtyard. We highly recommend!
We came with 11 people to discover Beaune and its wine cellars. We had an excellent stay, the house is magnificent, very well soundproofed for late-night gatherings, very comfortable bedding. Very well arranged for this type of weekend with 11 people! I sincerely thank Camilla for her availability and responsiveness.

- Is breakfast included? What's included?
- Yes, a full homemade breakfast is included each morning. It's a real French breakfast: fresh bread, cheeses, charcuterie, eggs, fruits, yogurt, juice, coffee/tea. Kwame and Camilla prepared it themselves. No industrial buffets.
- Is there parking? Where can I park?
- A few spaces available in front of the house and behind the Basilica (paid before 7 PM, free Sundays). More options: Parking Square des Lions (3 min walk, free after 7 PM) or Parking Bretonnière (free all day, 5 min walk). Saturday mornings, the street closes for Beaune market — one of France's finest.
- Do you accept pets?
- Yes, pets are welcome! Kwame and Camilla have an English Bulldog living in the house. Fee: €10/day per animal. Mention at booking or on WhatsApp.
- Do you speak other languages? How to communicate?
- Kwame speaks French and English. Camilla speaks French, English, and Norwegian. Communication: WhatsApp (best), email (reply in 24h), phone. For any question before/during/after stay, WhatsApp is fastest — Kwame replies within minutes usually.
- Can we taste wine from the Domaine?
- Yes! Domaine wines are served at table and available for tastings during your stay. Kwame loves talking about terroirs and cuvées. Wines can also be purchased in direct sales.

- The Domaine is in Aluze (40 km, 45 min drive). A private visit is possible on request — a tasting with Kwame. Reserve in advance on WhatsApp.
- How far is Beaune from Paris or Lyon?
- Beaune is 310 km from Paris (2h45 by train, 3h by car) and 180 km from Lyon (2h by car). Accessible but not a day trip — best to stay at least one night!
- What's the best time to visit?
- April-May (vines flowering) and September-October (harvest) are magical. Summer (July-Aug) is very touristy. November-December: spectacular Christmas markets. Winter (Jan-Feb) is quiet and authentic.
