La Rose Pourpre can be booked in full — 5 rooms, fully privatised, as a gîte rental without breakfast service. For very large groups, it can be combined with La Chanoinerie next door.

“Excellent stay, comfy bed and super clean room.”
Excellent host waited for us to get there. Excellent communication with host/owner. Excellent location. Walking distance to most places that we wanted to go. Exceptional!
Camilla was a wonderful host. The breakfast was a nice assortment of cheeses, meats, breads, fruit, juice, yogurt, etc. It is so close to the center of Beaune and near the Hotel-Dieu-Hospice de Beaune. The bed was very comfortable with nice bedding. Great communication via WhatsApp.
We were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home – thank you very much, Camilla. The next morning, we had a great breakfast, prepared just the way we wanted. The small hotel is nicely decorated and has a calm, very pleasant atmosphere. We definitely recommend it.
Camille is a lovely and welcoming hostess! The historic home is right across the street from a beautiful basilica open to the public. The breakfast, served in the sitting room overlooking the courtyard included fresh fruit, yogurt, cheese and salami, bakery croissant & bread, coffee, fresh squeezed juice. Presentation was out of a French picture book. Love her style!

Very pleasant and helpful owner. The place is nicely decorated and cozy, has AC which is rare in France and great during summer. The breakfast was good, served in a large and nicely decorated open kitchen. There are other well decorated common areas including a small outside courtyard.

- Is it wheelchair accessible? Is there an elevator?
- There's an elevator, which helps with luggage and mobility. BUT: There are steps at the house entrance. So access isn't entirely barrier-free. Have specific questions? Contact us on WhatsApp — we can check feasibility for your situation.
- Can we bring our dog/cat?
- Yes, pets welcome! Kwame and Camilla have an English Bulldog in the house. Fee: €10/day per animal. Mention at booking or WhatsApp.
- WiFi? Air conditioning? Heating?
- Yes, air conditioning! Free WiFi, great speed. Central heating in winter (comfortable). AC works perfectly in summer. It's an 18th-century house with all modern comforts.
- Can I bring my bike?
- A bike pump is at your disposal. Beaune is very bike-friendly! We can also suggest the best routes around Beaune and toward vineyards.
- Is it family-friendly? Do you have travel cribs?
- Yes! The house is family-oriented. Travel cribs available on request (free). No extra charges for kids in cribs. Breakfast adapted for children too. Beaune is very family-accessible.
- What rooms are available? Can I choose mine?
- 5 rooms, each unique: Cistercian Suite, Vineyard Room, Light Room, etc. We arrange room assignments based on your preferences. If traveling as a group, we place everyone on the same floor when possible.
- Is there a bathtub or only shower?
- Depends on the room. Some have bathtubs, others Italian showers. Specify your preference at booking — we'll do our best.
- Can I share a connected room with my family?
- Rooms aren't directly connected, but we place families on the same floor. One room can accommodate 2 adults + 2 children with travel crib.
- Breakfast times? Can it be served in the room?
- Breakfast from 8 AM (flexible per preference). Served in common area. On request, we can bring it to your room for health reasons.
- Is the house quiet at night?
- Yes, very quiet. Thick shutters on windows. Beaune is a small, peaceful town. Saturday evenings, nearby restaurants/bars might make noise until midnight. Request garden-side room if noise-sensitive.
- Can I cook in the room?
- No kitchenette in rooms. The bed & breakfast is designed for shared experience. But we can prepare snacks anytime.
- What time is checkout? Can I stay until 2 PM?
- Official checkout: 11 AM. Late checkout (1 or 2 PM) possible on request, subject to availability. Write WhatsApp the day before — no extra charge.
- Can I leave my luggage after checkout?
- Yes, of course! Leave luggage, enjoy Beaune, then depart afternoon. Personal arrangement with Kwame or Camilla on WhatsApp.
- Is there room service? Daily cleaning?
- No classic room service. Fresh linens daily. Towels refreshed daily. We respect your privacy. Need something? Just call!
- Can I have friends over for drinks in the room?
- Yes, naturally. We also have garden and common areas to gather. All guests invited to aperitifs — it's the spirit of bed & breakfast.
